Christopher Paolinis abiding love of fantasy and science fiction inspired him to begin writing his first novel, Eragon, when he graduated from high school at 15 and finished it two years later. Christopher is now 19 he lives with his family in Paradise Valley, Montana, where he is at work on the second book in the inheritance trilogy called Eldest.
This is the first of which hopes to be many books published by Christopher Paolini.
Ragon was first published in 2002 by Paolini International LLC (Christophers parents publishing company.) Christopher had done over 130 book singings and presentations between 2002 and 2003.
During these tours Christopher met a loyal fan named Michelle Frey who is now an editor for Knopf Books for Young Readers. She approached Christopher about publishing his book for a second time.
